Family Camp 2009

Early August we went camping with the Esau's to Silver Lake.  It was wet and damp and yucky until we  packed up and the sun came out.  Calvin loved camping and was thrilled to explore.

All the kids were excited to throw rocks in the water.
September long weekend we camped with the Reimers.  We finally found a true halfway point to meet up and found Revelstoke a lot of fun.
Ed, good thing you got some sleep in at some point!

The girls loved the camera and were always near when I had it out.

The best of friends....

Like father like......

These two found fun in the forest climbing on ladders, flying on ziplines and just having fun together.

Thanks to everyone who made camping fun.  See y'all next year!

Summer Pictures

We've been terribly busy since coming home on our honeymoon. If we aren't out camping on the weekends we are at home organizing. Life will hopefully slow down this fall for us. Enjoy the photos, it's a slow process so keep checking back for more.

This blog is created to keep family and friends up to date on the going on's of our lives. We want to keep those of you who live far away from us close to us in some way. We hope that by reading this you feel a part of our day to day lives.

Here are a few photos of our wedding day, July 11, 2009.

The day was sunny &
beautiful. We had many of you join us on our day and were so happy you could be there. For those of you
who weren't able to make it we hope that these photos will share the joy of the day.

Flowers were perfect and exactly what I wanted.

I almost forgot about the lighting of the candle but luckily Juergen
didn't :-)

Here's me walking out to the car appearing very calm despite the fact that I was nothing but....can you blame me. Running at least 1/2 hour late I was sure I was going to have to beg for Juergen's forgiveness!

We had a photo op in the car that my grandparents drove on their wedding day...very special memory! Looking back it was an amazing day and we look forward to many amazing days ahead of us in our marriage.
